Assessments
We follow the activity based , skill-based subject enrichment assessment and written assessments. We have a grading system for activity based assessments, assignments, tests and projects. Subject enrichment assessments are an ongoing process of evaluation to assess the learning of the children. Graded assessments make use of two or more tasks ensuring variety such as role play, practical work, presentations, projects, worksheets, etc. Term end assessment is undertaken by assessing the students in subjects under the Scholastic Area using the conventional numerical marking which is later converted into the grades.
Term end assessments are traditional paper pen tests taken at the end of every Term to assign a final grade to the students based on their performance. A combination of both formative and summative assessment tasks is essential for the overall effectiveness of the evaluation programme.
