Safety Measures in Our Transport System
We place utmost importance on student safety and have implemented robust security measures for all our school buses:
Authorized Transport Providers
All buses are operated by authorized contractors with proven experience in school transport services and adherence to stringent safety norms established by the Regional Transport Commissioner.
Professional Drivers
Each bus is driven by a licensed and experienced driver with a minimum of five years of heavy vehicle driving experience.
Lady Attendants
Every bus has two lady attendants responsible for maintaining discipline and ensuring student safety throughout the journey.
Mobile Communication
Each lady attendant is assigned a dedicated mobile number, available to parents for emergencies or queries, ensuring seamless communication.
Technological Safety
All buses are equipped with CCTV cameras, GPS navigation systems accessible to parents, and speed governors to regulate speed and ensure safe travel.
Transport Committee
A dedicated transport committee, comprising the Principal, Transport Officers, and selected parents, oversees operations. Officials from local authorities and transportation offices are also involved to enhance accountability and safety standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsibilities of Bus Drivers
- Maintain professionalism by following defensive driving practices and setting a positive example for students.
- Ensure that safety rules are consistently followed and address any concerns fairly and firmly.
- Attend regular training sessions organized by the school to stay updated on the latest safety protocols and transport advancements.
Responsibilities of Lady Attendants
- Maintain order and discipline among students during their commute.
- Assign seating and ensure students remain seated while the bus is in motion.
- Report any disciplinary issues to the school’s Principal or Transport Department for resolution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for parents and respond promptly in case of emergencies.
Responsibilities of Students and Guardians
- Ensure students are at the pickup point on time, as delays may result in guardians having to drop students at school themselves.
- Encourage children to follow safety guidelines, maintain cleanliness on the bus, and respect transport staff and peers.
- Inform the school management or transport department about any concerns related to the transport staff or operations.
